Many people know about God, but few have had a life-changing encounter with Him. Having a personal relationship with the true living God involves understanding and accepting basic principles.

in today’s world and culture It is so common to believe that there must be many paths to God.But Jesus is the only way, the only truth.and the only life.

1: God loves you and offers an incredible plan for your life.john 3:16

Gods mission from Genesis to Revelation is to redeem the lost world because of his great love for his people. At the proper time God showed his love for us and he sent his son to provide salvation by dying for us at the cross. All throughout the Bible there is passage after passage that talks about how much God loves us. His mission includes preparing a people unto himself a royal priesthood and a holy nation belonging to him

2: Man is sinful and separated from God.

For there is not a just man upon Earth, that doeth good and sinneth not”
(Eccl. 7:20).

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

because through sin, we are separated from God…and therefore cannot get to God on our own, for where He is, there can be no sin. This is when the love of our God comes in whne he sent his son to die for our sins.

3: Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God . . .” (1 Pet. 3:18).

“Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

4: Jesus is the only way to God.

Again in today’s world and culture It is so common to believe that there must be many paths to God.But Jesus is the only way, the only truth.and the only life This is the hardest one for many people to believe. There are no other “paths” to God or “ways” of salvation.

“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

one may say I am a good person I don’t do bad things- it is so important that you understand that to simply be a good person, believe in God, and do your best to serve Him is not what it means to be a Christian. It is impossible to be a God follower without accepting God’s son Jesus. Jesus is the way…the only way to salvation for mankind. It was Jesus who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and it is Jesus that we must accept and come in to relationship with if we are to be called by His name…Christians, which means “followers of Christ”.

 5: You must receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

“But to as many who received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.” John 1:12

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

WHAT NEXT:

REPENT: to repent means to turn around, to go in a new direction.

What do we need to turn from? We need to turn form our life-style of sin and separation from God. We need to turn from living our lives our own way and from being our own god.

What do we turn to? We turn to God who loves and cares for us. We turn to faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior.

BELIEVE: What is it that we must believe? We are told in the Bible we must believe that not only did Jesus shed His blood and die for us, but that he rose again from the dead and is alive today.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God have raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10)

CONFESS: With the mouth confession is made unto salvation. What is it that we say? We must say what we believe—that Jesus is our Savior. We must say what the Bible says about us—that God is our Father and we have become His children.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12).

You can make sure that you are right with God by turning to Him and praying this prayer:

“God, I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I REPENT, and I ask you to forgive me of all my sin.

“I BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is your Son, that He shed His blood so I might be forgiven, that He rose again from the dead, and He is coming back again.

“I CONFESS Him now as my Savior. I will live for you as you show me how. Amen.”

By believing in Jesus Christ and receiving Him as your Savior, you will turn your life in a new direction. You can be at peace with God knowing you will live forever with Him.
